Timothy White's Rock Stars Radio Show - 1987
This auction is for a 2 LP vinyl Westwood One U.S. radio show, never sold in stores, now over 25 years old--it was sent to an east coast radio station. The show recaps his career and includes a blend of Paul's solo, Wings and old Beatles tracks, with a fascinating interview that is exclusive to this radio show.
In this interview, the only one Paul granted in 1987, Paul discusses: John Lennon, The Shangri-Las, writing with Elvis Costello, writing with his wife Linda, his thoughts on following up/topping The Beatles, collaborating with other songwriters, recording in Nigeria, his favorite drummers, where he got the prison theme for Band On The Run, trick-or-treating in America, how he feels about Beatles songs in commercials, and talking to Michael Jackson about song rights.
