Description
A limited numbered collectors box set edition of Run Devil Run, by Paul McCartney. It comprises of eight 7" singles, between them covering each of the tracks on the album, plus a booklet, all housed in a replica of a 1960's record box (see photograph). This set is number 4572, the number is on the back of the box.
It was released on the Parlophone label in 1999, catalogue number 5232291. Each of the eight singles is pressed on black vinyl with a mauve/gold Parlophone label in a cream and black printed company sleeve, the whole is made to look like a 60's release.
The tracks are: No Other Baby / Lonesome Town, All Shook Up / Run Devil Run, Try Not To Cry/ Movie Magg, Brown Eyed Handsome Man / What It Is, Coquette / I Got Stung, Honey Hush / Shake A Hand, Party / Fabulous, Blue Jean Bop/ She Said Yeah
The yellow and red lyric booklet gives the lyrics plus on the reverse the history of the songs.
As well as Paul McCartney, the musicians include David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and Ian Paice of Deep Purple.
This box set is in absolutely pristine condition. It was purchased new at the time of release, it has been securely kept in a smoke and pet free environment ever since, and has never been played, therefore, it is listed it as new.
A great addition to any serious Paul McCartney / Beatles collection.
