This is one of the rarest promotional or test pressing discs I’ve seen.  The disc has only a completely blank white label, but appeared in a custom Capitol sleeve.  The only way to identify it is by the MATRIX number engraved in the runout groove (7PRO-79889-G1) It is one of several edits of Paul McCartney’s 1989 single “Figure of Eight”.  Two different recordings of this song were released; the first was issued on McCartney’s Flowers in the Dirt album and ran 3:23.  The second version was issued on several singles and promos in various edits, ranging from 3:57 to 5:11.  This test pressing runs 4:04 and has the same recording on both sides.    This record is in NEAR MINT condition and has been played only once, with a new stylus, to determine what song was on it and the running time.
