Description
This LP is is getting rare now.
It's on the UK Vertigo swirl label and is entitled 'Patto' by the band Patto.
It's a stereo recording and the catalogue number is 6360 016. This album was originally released in 1970.
It's a classic prog psych recording from a seriously talented band.
OUTER SLEEVE - The gatefold sleeve which is embossed on the outside is in fine condition. The sleeve has been covered with clear polythene adhesive film. The edges show some very wear but the spine is in superb condition. The wording on the spine is 100% readable. I've graded the outer sleeve as Ex.
INNER BAG - This is an expanded Vertigo swirl, die cut type which is polythene lined. It states at the bottom left hand corner of one side of the inner sleeve 'British Patent No. 800153 & 973939 - PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS - TO AVOID SUFFOCATION KEEP THIS BAG AWAY FROM BABIES AND CHILDREN' - MADE IN ENGLAND'. I've graded the inner bag as Ex-.
RECORD - The record is in fine condition. It looks clean and appears to have been played a number of times. There are some very superficial marks on either side which do not affect the quality. It plays very well on both sides with some minor surface noise and some occasional pops and clicks on both sides. These blemishes do not detract from the overall quality of the record. There are no jumps on any of the tracks on either side.
LABELS - The labels are - side one - Vertigo black and white swirl design - side two - smaller Vertigo black and white swirl design with all track credits for sides one and two. It states at the bottom of the label on side two - 'Produced by John Anthony'. There are some minor spindle marks around both holes. The labels are in overall fine condition with no damage. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - 6360016 1Y//2 420 11 - side two - 6360016 2Y//3 420 11 6. I've graded the record Ex.
I try to grade everything very conservatively and I believe that the winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I guarantee everything I sell. It will be difficult to find this record again in such a lovely condition.
