Patto – Hold Your Fire (12” LP)
Patto were an English rock band, formed in London in 1970. Founded by vocalist Mike Patto (born Michael Thomas McCarthy, 22 September 1942 - 4 March 1979), their lineup was taken from Timebox, consisting of vocalist Patto, guitarist and vibraphone player Ollie Halsall, bassist Clive Griffiths and drummer John Halsey. Mike Patto was born in Cirencester, England, and first became vocalist and frontman for The Bo Street Runners, who won a TV band competition Ready Steady Win during 1964. He was a member of Timebox, his own band Patto, and Dick and the Firemen. In 1974, Patto joined Spooky Tooth as vocalist and keyboard player. He was also a founding member of the rock band Boxer.

Vinyl side 1: excellent (has the odd light superficial mark that does not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has the odd light superficial mark that does not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (gimmix, gatefold): good (has wear but it’s all intact! has a bit of corner, edge and spine wear, small split on centre of right edge, rubbing front and back, light aging / discolouring).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
