PARAMETER – “Galactic Ramble” LP
Bidding / Shipping cost: For this particular item and in respect to its rarity/value I will only allow buyers with a minimum of 5 positive feedbacks to take part in the auction. Furthermore the high shipping charge simply reflects the insurance cost most couriers demand in order to compensate in case of damage or loss
Grading: For grading purposes I use (quite strictly) the British Record Collector's grading scale with occasionally (+) or (-) signs to denote the in-between conditions. My descriptions are economic in their wording, limited to the essentials and I never use phrasing such as “awesome” coupled with thousands of exclamation marks as a matter of self-respect. If something is not in tune with our mutual understanding of the grading scale it will be mentioned between brackets next to the grade
General details : This record has never been offered for sale yet (to my knowledge) and it’s hardly surprising since it’s an impossibly rare, limited private press recorded in 1971 by this young bunch and simply given away to just family and friends.
I’ve been given this copy sometime in the late 70’s by precisely one of these close friends, a girl mostly into progressive rock (the likes of Yes, Barclay James Harvest etc.) hence not getting any kick from this low-fi self-indulging psychedelic brew. Furthermore production and recording techniques are pretty basic here since the whole thing was recorded on a two-track tape machine in their own living room and bear that in mind please for the audio quality of this record
Very rare 1971 UK Original limited edition first issue private press LP on DEROY SOUND SERVICE (Side A: DER 696 A / Side B: DER 696 B stamped matrix numbers & Original ‘white textured’ labels; see photos), with a fully laminated picture sleeve, a blue fold-over lyric Insert & the original Inner, in a very nice condition
