DETAILS: Hard to find original Papa Jo Jones first pressing hand signed by the jazz musicican. Circa 1980. Gatefold cover. Hand signed and inscribed on inner gatefold.
BIOGRAPHY: Jo Jones (1911–1985) was an American drummer considered by many to be the most influential in the history of jazz. He had a major influence on drummers such as buddy Rich, Kenny CLark, Roy Haynes, Max Roach and Louie Bellson. He also starred in several films, most notably the musical short Jammin' the Blues in 1944. In 1985 Jones was the recipient of an American Jazz Masters fellowship awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts.
CONDITION: Record Cover is in Near Mint Condition. Both vinyl records are in VG+ Condition. Above images are of the actual item.
