Description
This is a copy of the locally independent self released 1983 "Metal Magic" LP by Pantera. THE first Pantera record, Issued while Dime and Vin were still teenagers,with Rex on bass and original (and future Lord Tracy vocalist) Terry Glaze in tow. LP Cover shows some wear and creases and some slight ring wear (mostly visable on the back). See photos. Vinyl is in good shape over all except for a strange bit on the same spot on song 1 on side 2 and lesser degree same spot on side 1, it almost looks like is on the surface, like a bit of hard wax. There is also one light surface scratch. Sold AS IS. I got this signed by Dimebag Darrell in person. I met him many times, going back to the 90s, as he was local, and if there was a metal act playing he was always there to see the show and or jam. (Not sure exactly when but I can figure it out, I think I got this signed at a Stephen Pearcy of Ratt solo show, Dime did a JP cover with him that night, early 2000s). I didn't get around to getting Vinnie on it, but someone could still get Rex an Terry! Its signed sloppily in black sharpie on the back just by Dimebag. As a bonus, I am also including a full copy of the 2004 Dimebag memorial issue of the local Dallas Observer newsprint mag. (plus an extra loose cover of the issue) It is oversize and over 100 pages, hence the shipping cost.
I've been an in person autograph collector for over thirty years, mainly music,and specifically alternative stuff. I'm getting older now and I've realized I don't need to keep it all as I have way too much stuff. Pricing stuff cheap to move it all. When I say I have "photo proof" I mean I have a photo of me with them. I didn't take pictures of people signing stuff, as I think its rude, and which would you rather have? A photo of you looking like you are hanging out with the person? or a photo of them looking down signing a record? My stuff is real, I know because I got it signed myself!
