THE PANICS-45-“I Don’t Know Why” b/w “Nightime Is So Lonely”-Rosina Records #RA-137-Boss 1965 San Marcos TEXAS Garage-Punk … most of you know both sides from assorted Texas comps, Flashback Series; if not, this is a cool 2-sider; Both sides are crude, cryptic and great teen-oriented Garage-Punk-straight out of the garage more or less; A side is primitive, guitar driven, with a cool moody lead vocal; there is a lead guitar break per se, but the guitar player must have forgotten his lead because it is off and on! …B side is of similar nature, guitar driven but more on a cryptic teen-ballad level…in any case-Both sides are dynamite in that Teen-Punk mode… KillerKool record.
