Panic was the inspiration of guitarist Todd Washburn, bassist Gary Lyons and drummer David "Duke" Simmons. They hailed from Charlotte, North Carolina, toured and opened for the likes of The Romantics, The Tubes, Billy Idol, The Producers and others.
One LP was released in limited quantity with two additional cassette tapes released over a 3-year period. A CD was released in 1992 with yet more songs.
Musically, hard rock and AOR. Clearly a quality band that had been together for 10 or more years. Todd became very successful as his indie label (Lure Records) was nominated as top country label of the year and gave us several top ten country hits. He's now a broadcast engineer at WHRO TV in Norfolk, Virginia.
This was their only vinyl record. "I Need You" and "What Do You Want" makes the AOR wonder hit list.
Cover has some shelf, edge, corner and slight ring wear. Record plays VG++ or better. Generic inner sleeve.
A rare, but worthy AOR record that should be in every collection.
