A very nice condition and highly presentable copy of this 1969 UK 1st press folk/rock gem with impressive sound quality throughout

Rare and highly collectible 1969 UK 1st press folk rock gem.  Gleaming, very good plus (VG+) - bordering on excellent - condition vinyl retaining a jet black sheen which in normal daylight comes across as unmarked. Closer inspection under a bright light reveals a few faint wispy surface hairlines and very light paper scuffs (slightly more so on side 2) but nothing feelable or below the surface and all appearing to be superficial.  Each label is excellent plus (EX+) with all text and the iconic Harvest logo remaining perfectly intact, and completely unmarked except for just a few small and very faint spindle trails next to the centre hole on each label.  The beautiful front and reverse side laminated original gatefold outer sleeve is in very good plus (VG+) - again, bordering on excellent - condition with firm edges including a rigid spine, nicely defined right angled corners, no obvious creasing, and all colours, art work, text (including the spine text), and photos remaining beautifully intact with rich vibrancy and great definition. The only blemishes (each minor) are x2 3mm light scuff marks towards the centre of the bottom reverse side edge, a little mild scuffing on each of the corners, a couple of tiny nicks on the spine, a little mild scuffing at the extremities of the spine, a slightly offset spine (but still rigid and with all spine text remaining intact), a few 1-2cm light laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the spine on each of the front and reverse sides, and jus ta little very light handling/shelf wear towards the opening edges on the inside of the gatefold. Excellent (EX) sound quality with no skips, repeats, jumps, distortion, or clicks and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum...occasional, not intrusive, and occurring just on a couple of the side 2 intermissions and quieter moments. Excellent tone with crystal clear vocals and instrumentation and every track a great listen.  Comes complete with plain white die cut inner.

These UK 1st pressings are becoming more difficult to find now, especially in condition as impressive as this - a welcome addition to any serious rock vinyl collection!

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
