Oxes - OXXXES 2LP rare explicit artwork with outer bag. Albini, ATP, Shellac

Description

In absolutely fantastic condition, this is an exceptionally rare item: the original double vinyl pressing of the second album by Baltimore's instrumental/math/post/heavy rock trio Oxes.

Beloved by Bob Weston and Steve Albini of Shellac, this band's weird fusion of metal and math or post rock certainly is intense yet surprisingly playful.

In keeping with the contents of the album itself, the original vinyl pressing by Monitor records had a light-hearted yet fairly explicit cover art and needed to be sold in a fake 'body bag' a la Big Black's Headache EP.

A very rare item that I am reluctantly selling due to the need to clear space and downsize my collection.

Vinyl and covers all in fantastic condition.

Perfect for fans of Shellac, Sonic Youth, Helmet, Mars Volta, Big Black, Slint, Rodan, Swans etc
