Description
Overflow. White Wine. Australian pressing. 1969. Festival. SFL-933576 / SMX32977/8. Studio band formed by Gus McNeil of The Nomads who formed a group of musicians including Greg Quill, John Sangster and Mary Jane Boyd. Later, he formed the Generation record label, amongst the very small output was Company Caine’s legendary debut LP, A Product Of A Broken Reality. The White Wine album includes the single release, a cover of Gram Parsons and Chris Hillman’s The Train Song, as well as two Paul Williams’ songs including the obscure The Drifter. Record in Very Good condition. Scratches across tracks 1-3 on both sides A & B. While there is an audible clicking at the end of Track One on Side A, and some snap, crackle and pops on the quieter moments, that’s largely it. No skips or jumps. Also light scratches etc throughout. Cover in very good condition, some ring wear on back cover and some pen marks. Popsike: 2010 ebay auction - $80.00.
