Description
This is an original Robert Johnson 78 rpm record on the Conqueror label from 1937. The Conqueror label was exclusively sold at Sears Roebuck. Conqueror 8871 Dust My Broom / Dead Shrimp Blues. There are supposedly less than 5 known copies in existence of this particular record on the Conqueror label. I am not a professional record grader, and realize this can be very subjective so I have included several large photos from different angles and with different lighting. My opinion would be ‘about’ V, but decide for yourself according to the photos and video. I will attempt to answer any questions, or special picture request for those seriously interested. I do think the playback quality is above average for a 78 rpm record of this era. I have included a link to a video showing the record being played on a cheap schoolhouse type record player so you will get an idea of the sound quality. I think the record would sound even better on a nice turntable. A Conqueror sleeve from the same era is included. The photos and videos have not been edited in any way. The record will be packed between cardboard and placed in a box with styrofoam peanuts on top and bottom. The record will ship insured for the purchase price. All questions are welcome.
