Description
Real Nice Hard to Find Original Monarch Pressing taken from my personal collection! This is the George Piros AT/GP Mix released January 12th 1969. Broadway address on label and back cover. White "Stereo" Text in Orange Block on Spine.
Matrix Info:
Side 1: Etched. ST-A681461CC-REPL AT/GP (monarch symbol stamped) ∆12703 PR
Side 2 Same Matrix Run-out except ST-A681462CC
Cover shows some minor signs of wear as pictured. Vinyl has some hairlines and some slight to moderate background surface noise on some of the soft acoustic passages (Black Mountain Side) and between songs but overall is conservatively graded as a STRONG VG to VG+. Has been Ultrasonically Cleaned and ships with a MOFI Anti-Static Sleeve, Original Atlantic Inner. Awesome sounding GP Mix that absolutely SMOKES the later Reissues and the recent Jimmy Page Remastered Pressing in my humble opinion! Still one of the Greatest Debuts of All-time and this Glyn Johns Engineered Masterpiece is still stunning close to 60 years later! Feel free to ask me any questions and thanks for looking!
