Now this is a Very Rare Record on an equally Rare Independent Preston Record Label! One of only 2 records by The Dancehall Racketeers who were the very 1st Western Swing performers in Australia! Very Rare 4 track 45 EP record on an equally rare private Preston(Melbourne) Pressing in N Mint Condition,it's probably the only one like this one you will ever see!

This was one of only 2 pressings by this Group on Preston Records & both were recorded in Melbourne in the 80's The group formed in Melbourne in June 1981,split up 8 months later & reformed a year later.From then they become a highly-sought group,playing in Pubs,Clubs,Folk Festivals & other gigs at a mind boggling 5 to 6 gigs a week,such was their popularity! Preston Records was a private label formed by Melbourne man Graeme Thorn who turned a milk bar into a Private Recording Studio The other rare pressing of Dancehall Racketeers "Allons A Lafayette" is also listed by me on this site.A rare opportunity to own both records!
