RIVERSIDE RLP 12-399 "WALTZ FOR DEBBY" BILL EVANS TRIO  

  Original Pressing BILL EVANS TRIO LP  on RIVERSIDE Label 

Here we have the very scarce original, first pressing of the iconoclastic "Waltz For Debbie" album by Bill Evans. The LP has a silver on blue label with reel and mike logo, published by Riverside Records, 1961 release. The release number is RLP 12-399;  and it has the deep grooved label.  

Playing on this LP are BILL EVANS - piano; SCOTT LAFARO - bass; and PAUL MOTIAN - drums.

The LP is has been sound graded as VG with very slight surface usage. The sleeve is in VG+ condition showing very slight rubbing at extremeties and very light sunning at edges. The sleeve is original (plain white paper) a little yellowed at edges. The run off numbers at the dead wax end are ALP 12 377A. This record has been professionally cleaned.

A good copy of this rare record which, while not perfect, is nevertheless seldom seen at auction.

We pack our records very carefully using 2 x 1/2" of hardcore foam rather than cardbord. This will ensure the safe arrival of this and any other LP to its destination.
