Description
Here's an original very tough to find White Label Promo Lp by The Beatles titled Ain't She Sweet and Other Great Group Sounds From England.Atco label # 169.This Lp has four songs by The Beatles with the other eight being by The Swallows.I play tested both sides and am Extremely Pleased with the way it played.Both sides play Beautifully.I'll go into detail about how it plays a bit later in my description.Cover has no seam splits.Has corner wear with more wear on lower right corner.Has 5 one inch or smaller creases near top seam and also 5 one inch or smaller creases near bottom seam on cover.Has seven small creases near spine.Some wear on edge where record slides out near lower left corner.Has light curling near top corners and also near lower right corner.Back cover has some yellowing and also a good amount of staining.These are very old stains and there is no odor except for a cardboard smell.Back cover also has a small crease on the paper near lower left corner.Cover has some general wear as well.This White Label Promo version is extremely tough to find.Side one looks to have about 15 very light scratches and 12 light non feelable scratches.Has two 1/2 inch feelable scratches which neither one affects play at all.Does have some scuffing which some of the scratches may be caused by scuffing instead of an actual needle.The first three songs which are all Beatles songs have some groove wear which songs are starting to show some groove graying lines mixed in with the black color of grooves.The Fourth song has very light wear and looks nice.The last two songs on this side have more groove wear than rest of side.Side still has a good amount of shine with a little less on the last two songs.On trail off area there is a circular light rub wear circle which is approximately 1/8th of an inch from very last song and maybe an inch from label.Also on this side only the label has a small sticker residue spot near left side of label Please see picture.Side two has Nine very light scratches and Nine light non feelable scratches.Has two 3/4th inch scratches that are lightly feelable.Also has a very small little less than 1/8th inch scratch near beginning of side which is also feelable.None of these affect play at all.Has some very small scuffing lines on very first song near very beginning at about the three O' Clock area of record.Looks to be on only first 1/3rd of song only.None of these affect play.Side has some groove wear with some light graying.Slightly more on last two songs.Good shine on grooves.I play tested both sides and they play as follows.Side one First three songs which are Beatles songs play Absolutely Beautifully with no background noise at all except for a little between each song when no music is playing.No ticks and no pops at all.Very clean and very clear sounding.Song Four which is also a Beatles song is a very soft ballad.This song plays with very light background noise on first 1/2 of song.Background noise is very light only and can only be heard because song is so soft.Last two songs on this side play Terrific with no background noise at all.No pops and no ticks.Very clear and clean.Every song on side two plays Fantastic.No background noise on any of the six songs.No pops and no ticks.All songs play very clean and clear.As with all records I sell if buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund.
