Jah Children/Dub / Stop Me Now/Version - Junior Delgado?/Michael Prophet - Orig. Mid 80's Jamaican SOUND SYSTEM DUBPLATE (10")
Exclusive digi roots vocal & dub from Junior Delgado for 'Echo-Tone' Sound System from the golden age of Jamaican Sound-System better known as the mid 80's. Flip is a dancehall reworking of Clancy Eccles skinhead anthem 'People Funny Boy'.
Track 1 - Jah Children - Junior Delgado? (Full vocal - no Sound Name called) - VG (even better with distilled water sprayed on surface whilst playing) (No jumping or sticking to acetate). (Raw killer mix to vocal & dub - wicked Sound-System gem).
Track 2- Dub - plays VG- & better with distilled water (No jumping or sticking to acetate). (Wicked Dubplate mix).
Track 3 - Stop Me Now- Michael Profit - (Full vocal - plays VG & better with distilled water on surface) (No Sound-Name called). No jumping or sticking & acetete is in fine fettle.
Track 4 - Version - plays VG- & better with distilled water sprayed on surface whilst playing. (No Sound-Name called). No jumping or sticking.
Very nice original Jamaican Sound-System Dubplate -THEY DON'T MAKE TUNES LIKE THIS ANY MORE!!. Could have been cut & recorded in London judging by the Dub Plate label. However i have known Sound-Men carry blank Music House acetates back to Yard and use them in the studios up there for cheapness.
N.B NO SOUND-NAME IS CALLED ON THIS DUBPLATE - So tunes can be played anytime, anywhere by anyone!.

GRADING:
MINT = unplayed ex-shop stock.
EX = almost mint except for possible light usage,or marking on label.No marks on vinyl.
VG = minimal marks,no reduction in sound quality at all.
VG- =very clean sound quality,but marks to vinyl and possible light scratches.(this is by far the most common condition of my records and proves wholly satisfactory to customers).
G+/VG- = more than acceptable playing condition,label likely to be worn or marked.
G+ = noisy-but music still appreciable.
G/G- = rough condition,noisy,could be scratched or have hiss but of great interest for historical content.
OTHER ABBREVIATIONS USED;
BLANK = original first pressing of tune given to sound system operators to play before the record was given a label and made available in the shops for the general public.
LD = label damage.
CD = Cover Damage(applicable to LP’s).
Please note: most records i sell are ex sound system copies and often have sound man markings on the labels.
