Description
This is an original 10" Studio Master 1/4" Reel 3M Scotch #111 Recording Tape from a circa 1959 (has 12/22 written in the date section) Chancellor Records recording session w/ Frankie Avalon at Bell Sound Studios. This tape contains multiple takes of the hit Venus - including False Starts & Incomplete Takes w/ a small STEREO stamp on the sheet. There's a possibility of there being one or two other songs on this tape as there's 2 other entries in the Title column w/ one reading Rock & Roll Band (see pics).
I was able to purchase this tape - along w/ a few others - from a member of Bob Marcucci's family. All of this material is covered by copyright & purchasing it does not allow any reproduction rights of any sort. This is truly a piece of Rock n' Roll history!
I have no way to test or play this tape - so it is being sold as you see it & untested. If there's any issues w/ the tape not being as described, blank or some other problem I will take it back & provide a 100% refund - including shipping in both directions.
Shipping is based on 2 lbs from 91941 - I won't ship this rare item via Media Mail so please don't ask.
