Description

This is an original thick heavy vinyl U.S. pressing lp on green WARNER BROTHERS label #WS-1893, title is: AMERICAN BEAUTY by THE GRATEFUL DEAD, stamped in trail off both sides is an oval logo, etched on side one: WS-1893, & 39804-1, side two: WS-1893 & 39805-1, Lp has 10 tracks, labels are very clean with NO stains, fading, or spindle marks, just 2 faint spindle trails on side one. vinyl has a deep mirror gloss shine with NO dulling groove wear anywhere, also No scratches, warps, defects, sleeve stains, etc. On one side I noticed 3 faint light surface scuffs that do not affect play. I also noticed one tiny shallow indent that does not affect play, I played excerpts on my high quality turntable and cartridge, they sounded clean, clear, and very detailed with No skips, distortion, or annoying background noise, cover is thick cardboard still in original shrink wrap with 2 evenly spaced , perfectly round breathe holes on front, shrinkwrap has one small tear top right corner, everywhere else its tight, including over seams and spine, Spine print is white and detailed, cover has No seam or spine splits or flaking, on front there is a tiny hardly noticeable mark. There are No bent or pushed in corners, punch holes, saw cuts, cut corners, rivets, stains, fading, stickers, or writing, These early originals are getting harder to find in this great CONDITION: Cover VG + + + / Lp VG + + + .
