The tracks on this record were selected to demonstrate how good a sound system can reproduce
a stereophonic image. It also tests the dynamic range and tonal quality of the system.
Carefully preserved for many years and sold from my private collection (you have absolutely known
genealogy). Has had at most 2-3 plays on an expertly setup high-end audiophile turntable, arm,
and cartridge. Has never been exposed to heat or tobacco smoke and always stored vertically
in a specially designed record cabinet (Rackit) to prevent warpage. Was cleaned on a VPI
HW 16 with Audio Intelligent solutions and ultra-pure water rinse (50X purer than distilled water)
before my pre-sale sound check.
Track list
A: Tiden Bara Gar, Teleman's Violinkonsert in G, Labrynth, Buddy Bolden Blues, Polka from the "Bolt",
Zamponas (from alternate takes), My Old Friends.
B: Invention No. 4, from Symphony No. 5 suite II, Innsbruck, A new Ground, Ole Miss, Unkas Flykt,
De Lofzang Marie from Der fluyten lustof, Dance from Major-Minir Etudes op. 67,
Gelobet seist Du, Jesu Crist.
Grading
Note: record grading by text characters is subjective and does not fully describe quality
levels. Please see photos and my detailed descriptions below.
Outer Jacket: Very Good plus (VG +) Some barely noticeable discolorations on front lower right corner,
a few tiny creases along left front corner, slight ring discoloration on rear left edge, tiny discoloration
spots on rear lower right corner, very mild small discoloration on bottom side of spine.
No split seams and inside gatefold is clean and glossy. Front and back covers are bright in color
and non-yellowed.
Vinyl: Mint Minus (M-) Minus is because both labels have LAST vinyl preservative stickers. The
LAST preservative was applied before very first original play. The surface visuals are a glossy
deep luster with no scratches or scuffing as inspected under high intensity halogen light.
All songs were either spot checked or played fully through. This is an exceptionally quiet record.
Any audible groove noise is only what was contained in the original manufactured pressing.
None has been added by playing or handling. Altogether play quality is indistinguishable from a
new pressing.
Packaging
Record will be placed outside the jacket to protect against seam splitting.
Original inner sleeve is included separately.
Record has been placed into a new "rice paper" Master style sleeve.
Outer jacket is contained in a new clear polyethylene protective sleeve.
Sent in good quality record mailer with cardboard stiffeners.
Shipping
Shipping will be via USPS Media Mail for a flat charge of $4.50
