Description

"Ooh Baby" b/w "My Gal is Gone" by The Five Blue Notes on Sabre 103, original U.S. pressing from 1953.  Forget the incredible rarity and collectibility of this 45--it deserves its status as one of the great vocal group classics by the simple fact that this record really jumps!

Disc is VG- to VG with numerous scuffs and scratches, but still good shine.  Fairly heavy surface noise does not overpower the music, but is a little distracting in places.  A minor edge warp does not prevent play, nor does it detract from the music.  Most importantly, both sides play all the way through, and still sound good enough to be thoroughly enjoyable.  The sound would probably be better after a good machine cleaning, but I prefer to leave that to the discretion of the winning bidder.

Labels are VG- to VG with plenty of wear, especially around the center hole on the A-side, which also has an owner's name written in pen.  Still pretty displayable on the B-side.

Not just "good enough until a better one comes along"...Essential, because who knows how long it might be before another genuine copy of this rarity comes along in ANY condition?
