Description

Up for Auction are 9 WOR-Mutual 30 minute "Let's Go To The Opera"
shows broadcast in 1946. Each disc contains part 1 or part 2 of this
show and a set of 2 transcriptions contains one 30 minute show.

Let's Go to the Opera: WOR/ Mutual's opera series presented opera
selections sung in English from Wagner, Cavallo, Bizet, Puccini and
many others. This series was sponsored by the Book of the Month Club.

There are 18 16" transcriptions for these 9 shows. Each transcription is
15 minutes since the 2nd side is blank.

These 16" transcription records will only play on a transcription turntable
with a 9" free arm. All discs are in Very Good to Excellent condition with
the original paper sleeves. The discs are clean and uncracked with no skips.
I will ship them in sturdy packing by USPS media mail.
