Description

Collectors, here is a great disc, Okeh 10 inch #40287, circa 1924.  The Jenkins family performs two sacred songs, with guitar:  the familiar "The Old Rugged Cross" and their own composition, "Sing it and Tell it".  The group consisted of Andrew Jenkins and his three daughters, and made many records for Okeh in the 1924-1930 time period.  Nice renditions of the songs, you will enjoy them.  The record plays well with the expected moderate background noise typical of non major brand records of the era.  Very scarce record, giveaway buy it now price compared to similar records from eBay sellers, go for it!
