Description

Official Beatles Fan Club Christmas Record 1964 -- Flexi Disc. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
Beatles Christmas Record 1964 (Flexi-Disc)

This was the second time the boys had reached out to their fans with a recorded Christmas message. Like some of the others, it is informed by a sort of 60s radio comedy vibe (Goons, Round the Horne), but still manages a nice simple sincere set of pieces-to-microphone. Paul thanks fans for their record-buying, John hopes that fans will like his next book, George thanks the audience for their response to "A Hard Day’s Night" and puts them on alert for the follow-up film (to be in colour!), and Ringo is left with not much to say… except a list of places they’ve been… and thanks of course.

This Flexi disc plays well, apart from three “pops” between and 15 seconds. The sleeve is a little faded and browned with age, but is sound.
