Description
You are looking at an auction for the 1972 self titled album by folkfunk outfit ODYSSEY. This is NOT the same band that went on to fame and fortune as a disco era but an entirely different group altogether.
This is an extremely rare original pressing released on the Motown subsidiary Mowest records that existed from 1971 - 1973 prior to Motown`s move from Detroit to California and produced by Karl Bornstein and Michael Goldberg.

Side 1. Home Of The Brave; Georgia Song; Country Tune; Gossamer Wings; Our Lives Are Shaped By What We Love. (Whilst all tracks are very very good, this last song on side one is a simply stunning, beautiful song.)
Side 2.Wondrous Castles; Battened Ships; Sunny California Woman; Black Top Island Of The West; Broken Road.
Outer cover - Very Good +++ .Intact except for a nick in lower left cover to show this is an import LP and the usual faint mark from the vinyl pressing on the inside of the cover.

Vinyl - Visually - Excellent no marks
Vinyl - Audibly - Very Goos +++. I can`t in all honesty rate this as Excellent as there are some very minor crackles and pops on the lead in to both sides, in between tracks and they break through on some of the very quiet passages on some tracks. It`s the kind of noise you that you may expect on a near 40 year old LP, but no other sounds that detract from the music such as scratches. No inner groove wear or `fuzziness` / distortion on high notes and there is no muddying of the sound.
Paypal only accepted. Postage on the 1st Saturday after PayPal payment clears and is via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Airmail Airsure unless buyer wants to pay for an upgraded / different service. Insurance included in P&P. Collection in person can be arranged but only after Paypal clears. UK postage only. Return accepted only if item does not fit description given. Buyer accepts responsibility for any damage in transit as collection is highly recomended rather than postage. This will be extremely well packed with the inner and outer platter removed to minimise the risk of damage in transit.
Low starting price and no reserve.
This is not offered to overseas buyers due to the cost but more importantly the delicate nature of this and other turntables.
Unfortunately due to the very unsatisfactory behaviour of another eBay member I know longer have 100% feedback. I made a mistake in a listing, contacted the buyer immediately, the buyer accepted a full refund and apology but left negative feedback to "punish" me for legitamately asking for a trade to be cancelled. Very disappointing. The other 99.4% or 470 out of 471 people I have traded with did not leave negative feedback.price rating
