Description

A very cool, rare October 16, 1968 Vol.3, No.42 copy of the Australian Go-Set magazine featuring The Beatles Ringo Starr and George Harrison on the cover (Plus Tom Jones including poster). There is a big one page colour poster of the whole band and an article about Hey Jude hitting No.1 on the charts. This issue also contains heaps of other great articles (The Groop,Canned heat, Monkees, Spencer Davis Group, John Farnham, The Groove, Bee gees, Easybeats, Otis Redding, Cliff Richard, John Mayall, Twilights, Masters Apprentices, a backpage poster of Traffic and more), photos and great advertisements of the day. This large format (45cm by 29cm), 24 page magazine is in excellant condition with very little wear. There are a few pages that appear faint, I suspect it is due to printing press ink running low, they are still totally readable. A great addition to any 60s rock-pop collection.
