Oasis - Some Might Say

Original artwork vintage proof prints for Oasis' first number 1 hit single - Some Might Say and colour C-type photos & postcard.

Up for auction are two silver bromide black and white analogue prints used in the preparation and production for Oasis' artwork on the single release - Some Might Say. 

These vintage prints were printed in January 1995 and were back up proof copies for the finished hand coloured sleeve. You will note that the back cover image has some slight tinting to the alsatian dog, this was done by the photographer in order to experiment with various colours and tints prior to completeing the artwork. Very few proofs exist from this artwork, making these vintage artworks highly collectable.

Measurements are 16" x 12" - Both prints have been signed by the photographer and carry the photographer's official copyright and blind stamp - and have pencil annotations on the verso.

Including in this sale and in addition to the vintage prints, are two C-type photographs ( 10" x 8" and 9" x 7") of the finished hand coloured artwork.These have been generated directly from the original hand coloured artwork and as such are of superb quality and high definition. Each print has been signed in white pen by the artist/photographer, both these prints compliment the vintage proof prints and would look great displayed alongside one another.

Also included in the sale is a vintage promotional postcard from 1995.

All in all a great collection of items for this historic Oasis single.
