Record: BE AWARE THAT THIS WOULD BE STANDARD M-, NO DISCUSSION FOR 99% OF THE DEALERS ON EBAY. My grading is: über EX to EX+ (Has a very! small! amount of very! faint! SUPERFICIAL lines – one longer and the rest just shorter ones. ALL GRADED UNDER DIRECT HALOGEN LIGHT! Also a very faint loss of sheen at run in area ONLY – very faint! Super looking copy overall and you’ll be tried hard to find a better one. Label has some staining that look like aging / light damp damage – see scans. Vinyl is very fresh virgin looking overall. AND - remember that any faults I point out are always minuscule if not stated otherwise - all from a visual point of view under direct "dissecting" halogen light).

Now… this is a killer record and it’s in super condition… One of the best UK freakbeat monsters around and one of the rarest and most sought after Deroy-related releases.

Looks great & sounds great!, but be aware that the pressing volume on this particular 45 is quite low, making every blemish more prolific sound-wise. As the volume is low from the start and you have to crank it up more than normal, any tiny thing sounds, even though it wouldn't normally. At the same time it’s only during the intro that you notice anything. All the hand clapping sometimes makes you think you hear more than you actually do. Not very different from other Deroy pressings – perhaps made by their tape-to-disc service, that was quite popular for tiny runs of mainly LP’s?

On a personal note I’d like to say that if you really want this, you should not go waiting for a lesser looking copy of it (=cheaper), as you probably won’t be enjoying it very much in the end (that’s if you play your records). You’ll probably need a very good patience too - to find it that is.

AS A CURIOSITY... the centre seemingly being a "push-out" according to the photo is actually "fake" - the original pressing is always "solid centre", with a label that gives the idea of being a push-out.
