!!!ELUSIVE PROGMONSTER!!!!
!!!!AN IMPOSSIBLE FIND!!!GORGEOUS EX!!! A few hundred (rumoured to be around the 300 mark) copies worldwide only!!!SOOOOOOOOOOO very rare!!!!!
In all my years this is only the third time I have come across this absolute STUNNER. The rarity of this LP is not to be underestimated!!! Most of these will now be tucked away in major collections across the four corners of the Earth. Only 300 are rumoured to be about. Rare ... anyone?? Sensational sound quality, NO skips or jumps. NO clicks, this is really a stunning heavy vinyl with a beautiful deep gloss. Although noy Mint there are only a few hairlines but just superficial and undistinguishable on replay, totally gorgeous vinyl!!! Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.
I have played this in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! I first played or a general listen and a second time for a more in-depth observation. I am very glad to say that there are not any jumps or skips. Unbelievably as it may sound there is not any background noise at all, despite a few hairlines being present!! Very remarkable for this 1970 vinyl!!! The high groovewalls account for the absolute quality of this vinyl, not unlike the earliest Vertigo and Island recordings. Very enjoyable songcraft, no wonder this album is now so sought after. I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!
Sleeve: A few underlaminate creases near the opening and the spine. Front laminated and rear laminated flipbacks (3). Quite a flimsy sleeve like the early Decca sleeves. This has stood the tooth of time very well. Slight onset of ringwear to the back. NO writing or doodling. NO tears or rips and no large creases. The spine is fully legible.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible!!!
