ORNETTE COLEMAN “The Empty Foxhole” FIRST PRESSING Blue Note BLP 4246 Mono Vinyl

This is the First Edition, “VAN GELDER" stamped pressing of ORNETTE COLEMAN’s “The Empty Foxhole” on the "New York” labels of Blue Note BLP 4246. Musicians include Ornette Coleman, Charlie Haden, Denardo Coleman.

VINYL plays very well, clean, with infrequent pops and ticks. Ensemble sections are very dynamic and strong, clear, and powerful. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Very good Gloss. Clean surface. The “New York” labels are clean.  88312 written in gold marker in deadwax. See photos.

COVER is in very good shape, corners worn. Minor wrinkling, crease on lower cover. Red sticker upper left corner: 8831-L. Spine and seams solid. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 10023" back jacket mostly clean, “Audition Copy” stamp, red sticker with writing. Please see photos.

This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
