Description

MEGA-RARE ORIGINAL UK LP - The Status Quo "Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo" (Pye NPL 18220) MONO. Recorded in 1968, this was the debut UK album from Quo, and VERY RARELY SURFACES!! Tracks include "Black Veils Of Melancholy", "Ice In The Sun", "Technicolour Dreams" etc etc. The vinyl is in VG+ CONDITION, with some mild surface marks, and the odd small scratch, that causes the odd background "crackle", and during "Sunny Cellophane Skies" a few "pops" during play, but overall, not a bad-sounding record!! The sleeve is in EX- CONDITION, with a few very minor creases on the front sleeve, and light signs of handling on the rear cover(see scans). There is still the original sticker on the front cover, indicating that "Ice In The Sun" is on the LP. This record VERY RARELY TURNS UP, especially in MONO, and I want to be accurate about the condition etc, so if you require ANY further details please contact me. Happy to oblige!! As usual with my iterms, there is NO RESERVE and a low starting bid price.
