TITLE: THIS IS A GENUINE HEADED NOTEPAPER OF THE ORIGINAL DIXIELAND JAZZ BAND, WITH THE ICONIC CARTOON OF THE BAND "IN ACTION' FROM THE COLLECTION OF BRIAN RUST. THE LETTER IS FROM THE ODJB's 'BIOGRAPHER', HARRY O. BRUNN TO BRIAN RUST WELCOMING HIM TO THE USA AND IS DATED JUNE 1959. THIS WAS NICK LA ROCCA'S OWN STATIONERY AND BRUNN, AS THE BAND'S OFFICIAL BIOGRAPHER, HAS HAD THE LETTERHEAD IMPRINTED WITH HIS NAME BELOW THE CARTOON. SIZE 11 X 8.25" CONDITION: EXCELLENT, UNFADED AS IT WAS ARVHIVED IN AN ENVELOPE BY BRIAN RUST. IT SHOWS SIGNS OF BEING FOLDED INTO THREE PANELS FOR MAILING. COMMENTS: A SLICE OF JAZZ HISTIRY AND A WONDERFUL ITEM FOR FRAMING!
