ORIGINAL CHECKMATES UNION PACIFIC / THE SPY DECCA F 11688 1963
On auction is:
The ORIGINAL CHECKMATES 45 rpm entitled UNION PACIFIC c/w THE SPY released in the UK on DECCA F 11688 in 1963. Both sides of this 45 are RGM Sound Recording productions under the supervision of the celebrated independent producer - Joe Meek. In recent years the flip side THE SPY – has attracted the interest of instrumental lovers (as well as the continuing interest from Joe Meek collectors). This has culminated in The Spy being included on CD on the Instro-Hipsters a Go Go: 24 of the coolest instrumentals of the late 60s and early 70s (vol.3). But - this auction is your chance to own this track on the original vinyl!
The record is housed in an original DECCA label company sleeve.
The record label is nice and clean.It has with a dark blue pen mark on the A side centre: which can hardly be read as it is similar in colour to the blue label.
The disc is visually in VG condition.
