You are bidding on BEVERLY KENNEY PLAYS FOR JOHNNY SMITH  

This is the original DG 1956 first pressing on Roost LP 2206  US issue .

Cover is VG+ with bullet hole 4 inch top right seam split

Label is super clean with no spindle marks.

Visually vinyl is near mint with a couple of  light paper  scuff marks only seen under a very bright light .

Play graded on a high end audio system with a Kondo cartridge , sound is loud and clean with the occasional  background surface noise heard on the quieter tracks which is not obtrusive and common  in these early 1950's shellac used for these recordings and does not detract from enjoying this rare recording.

Her original records are extremely rare ,especially in this condition from this jazz singer who attempted suicide twice and then succeeded the third time with a combination of alcohol and Seconal on April 12, 1960 in an apartment in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York at the age of 28
