PLEASE READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY :

This is the ORIGINAL JA AQUARIUS ACETATE (10"45rpm) with its matrix number "Darker shade of red (H. Chin Loy) FHC 7363-A" done to make the metal matrix which was later used for the 7" pressing. Matrix number is as usual near the label's place, but also a larger one is near the edge (see pic)

My english is not perfect, still let's remind how a record is made : 

1) An ACETATE (some call it soft wax ; a dubplate is made same way) is made with the matrix number in it, the groove is as on any dubplate, can play it on the turntable * THIS IS WHAT I'M SELLING HERE. Then this 10"45rpm is engraved on one side only, on the 7" part of it.

2) A METAL MATRIX is made by electrolysis/galvanoplasty/electroplating from the acetate - I currently sell one LP matrix on Vista Sound - see my other items. Then the groove is "reversed", you can play it on your turntable but you have to spin the plate on the opposite direction (from usual).

3) RECORDS are pressed from the matrix, grooves are as you can play on your turntable averyday. 

Tune is Augustus Pablo & Aquarius All Stars "Darker shade of red".

A REAL PIECE OF HISTORY. SEEMS THAT BRAD OSBORNE HAD A JOB FOR IT (cutting ? pressing ?) AS AN OLD CLOCK TOWER LABEL WAS GLUED ON IT. THE PLATE WAS MADE BY TRANSCO (usual US factory for blanks). YOU ALSO HAVE THE ORIGINAL TRANSCO SLEEVE.
