Description

stereo press of LP released on Mainstream label in 1969
ORIENT EXPRESS ( self titled) grey label pressing ( see scan) ~ not 100% sure if this is original
it is NOT one of the white label 80s Euro boots ( which i have seen) ~ vinyl here is much thicker ~
i'm taking a hint from the dated back cover of 1972 ~ looks good i bought as an original , years ago
CONDITION:
cover: Excellent
still has original shrink ~ has cello tape around opening edge ~ it's on the shrink ~ NOT taped to cover
cover has tiny fray to corners ~ back cover has small date written ~ 3/72
vinyl:VG+(+)
clean & glossy, but, with lite groove wear, a couple of paper sleeve lines & a few minor lite smudges
sevel lite needle marks &a few tiny faint minor very lite surface marks ~ all superficial save for 1small
grit mark on 1 track on side 2 can be felt with fingertips ~makes 5 or 6 low level clicks ~
~ difficalu to discern ~ music is very intense on this selection ~ remainder plays
with several odd occasional individual lite clicks & some soft surface crackle here & there
