Description

I am offering a 15 minute radio show "Services Calling" on a 12 inch plastic record.  The programme is from a ‘Piano Playtime’ broadcast by Harry Roy’s famous piano duettists Ivor Moreton and Dave Kaye.

This programme features crooner Denny Dennis.

The Overseas Recorded Broadcasting Service (ORBS) was part of ENSA to provide entertainment to the Britain forces and is one of those productions.

The record was pressed by EMI and dates from around 1944 (based on the compositions involved). The record has quite some wear as you might expect but plays through well with some background noise.

Remember these records are EXTREMELY RARE.

I understand that this is a complete programme, the contents of which are listed below.

Ivor Moreton and Dave Kaye (and rhythm accompaniment) and Denny Dennis (and has lady announcer).
Side 1

  1. Theme: Tiger Rag
  2. Medley: Come out come out wherever you are - Where the blue begins
  3. Embraceable You vDD
  4. Sleepy Lagoon vDD

Side 2

  1. Happy Fingers
  2. Down by the river vDD
  3. Theme: Tiger Rag
