This was his favorite, the renowned Wurlitzer at the Chicago Theatre, and this is the only direct-to-disc ever recorded of it.
Simply great tonalities and presence here, as you listen to the maestro of the manuals deliver I ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU, ROLLER COASTER, I’LL SEE YOU AGAIN, BOJANGLES OF HARLEM, and one very fine, often called “legendary” MICKEY MOUSE MARCH.
