Description

ONE WAY STREETS -  Jack The Ripper b/w We All Love Peanut Butter  Sunrise 103

Super condition M-, essentially as NEW, plays perfectly.

BTW, the sound clip attached to this listing is the (mighty) DOVERS, for some reason ecommerce attached a player to this listing.  & , for whatever reason it can't be deleted from this listing.  You get what you pay for, I suppose...

Regarding this classic example of 1967 Ohio based (Zanesville, to be precise) Rock & Roll Singing with String Band Accompaniment, what can be said?

Well, how about the fact that this singular example of double sided twisted garage perfection is in a class of it's own, a category of one, inhabiting a somewhat rarefied realm of guileless savage innocence?

Most of the world, well a few thousand souls at any rate, most likely first encountered this double sided wonder through it's appearance on the first volume of Back From The Grave.  Where it stood tall amongst giants.

What elevates this particular copy is the superb condition it is in. Near mint would be an understated characterization of this copies condition, clean, bright & glossy vinyl, with nary a trace of wear or any sort of distress.  Simply put, this is an archive condition keeper.

The power of this recording must be heard on original vinyl to be fully appreciated, suffice to say this is an extremely well recorded 45.

Labels are in excellent  condition,  as the accompanying photo's should reveal.

I've no idea when another copy of this record has been offered for sale on ebay previously, suffice to say this auction presents a rare chance to acquire a record that has few peers in any genre. One Way Streets hit the ball out of the park with this release, here's a chance to score a perfect condition copy of an extremely rare garage 45, especially in the superb condition this example is in.

Any questions please ask.

This record must be sent insured, don't worry, it's not terribly expensive. Rates are .79¢ per $100.00 in the USA.  $1.00 per $100.00 elsewhere.  The record will be very carefully packaged for shipping, see my feedback for customers prior experience purchasing from me.
