SUPERB and extremely rare Welsh progressive rock band that even after much research remains quite a mystery. That is probably because they were signed to the Welsh language label Sain Records an operation that I believe still exists to this very day - mainly issuing MOR or folk records sung in Welsh. Omega were an aberration as they were a full on heavy progressive rock band very much influenced by the greats of the day including Uriah Heep and Magnum. The music is top notch and very well recorded, full of prog greatness including a wailing guitarist. Natch the vocals are in Welsh. I've been collecting records for about 40 years and I have never run across this one before - picked up two copies hence auctioning this one whilst the other stays in firmly my collection.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
Pressing: Sain, Wales, 1983
Vinyl: Super clean and shiny condition with a couple of spindle marks and one tiny scratch at the very end of the last track on side two - looks like the record must have been dropped on the turntable deck its right at the end and sounds for just a couple of second on the fade out. Other wise grades as shop fresh MINT!
Cover: Again, pretty much no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated single cover. Sharp corners (one slightly mangled), no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is perfectly square, stiff and straight. Impossible to find like this. Grades as Ex+
Inserts: Lyric insert but you'll have to speak Welsh to understand it!
