Description
This is a collaboration between Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and John Frusciante released as a part of Gold Standard Lab's Special 12 series. Obviously if you are viewing this auction you are well-aware of how precious a gem this record is.
This features experimental acoustic instrumentals performed by two of our generation's most unique guitarists.
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez is the guitarist of The Mars Volta and the former At The Drive-In.
John Frusciante is the guitarist of The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
(but you already knew this)
Omar and John have a deep musical relationship that really shines on this album.
This is extremely rare, there were only 500 of these made and it is perhaps one of the most sought after vinyl releases featuring Omar Rodriguez-Lopez.
I really don't think further description is necessary, being that if you are considering bidding on this you obviously know your stuff about these musicians, and how overwhelmingly rare and hard to find this is. I would be more than happy to answer any questions!
It really breaks my heart to have to sell this as I probably will never get another opportunity to own this, but my amp has recently died and I lack the funds to buy a new one. I figure being able to make music is more of a priority than collecting it, so the opportunity to own this is now yours; I would prefer giving it to a loving home.
I have only taken out the record and played it once since purchasing it to check the quality, and yes it is perfect.
