Description
Old eBay prices: £33 + £29 + £25 + £24 + £25 again. Powerpop melody punk classic from 1979....and sooooo British. You are bidding on the first and best 7“ release by the ODDS from England. Both tracks were recorded and mixed at the legendary Pollen Studios. It’s the same studio and label where punk band SEMA 4 recorded and released their two 7” records. The singer's voice is similar to Bob Geldof (BOOMTOWN RATS), but the music is much more powerful. The starter ‘Saturday Night’ will bring a smile to your face, because this track includes all elements of a powerpop cracker. The flip is entitled ‘Not Another Love Song’ and is a winner too. Original first pressing, released on private label ‘Double R' records in 1979 (catalogue number RED 1).

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
