Mixed bag of psychedelic sounds. I think these guys were Canadians who recorded this unique LP in France, but they might be French I am not sure, and I have found info that supports both stories, and it exist both as a French and as Canadian original. This is the Canadian orig.

Anyway it contains loads of effects and exiting breaks, range from novelty to poppsych over upbeat garage into total fuzz dementia. French copy listed in Pokora book with 3 stars.

Cover: Almost perfect and in shrink, but from a reseal, as there is a cut out hole in lower left corner underneath the shrink. EX.

Record: Disc looks very clean with just a few hairlines. Plays with a few random pops and very slight surface noise at a few spots of side 1. VG++.

General information: Hi folks! Up for auction this week is a bunch of nice rare and very rare psych, beat, garage and folk LP’s from around the world. All records have been visually AND play graded. Please check out them all, many of these you will not see again for quite a while, so grab them now you got the chance. Reasonable opening prices and NO reserve.

As far as I can tell, these are all original first prints, unless otherwise stated. I have tried to be accurate with my description, without being pedantic. If you need more information, like full track list, matrix number, additional photos etc please mail me, and I will try to help as good as I can. If you have any questions, or if you have knowledge about any of these that you feel should be stated in my description, please let me know, and I will add or correct.

Grading: VERY IMPORTANT!!! Please read my description of the record. That should give you the best picture of the condition of the disc, unlike just a grade that could be anything really. I have tried to be very accurate with my description instead of just giving a grade, as it seems that a M- record to some is a VG record to others and vice versa!! I know as a fact that my own VG+ is the same as many dealers EX. My gradings are very strict as follows.

M-                 Perfect. Like new.

EX                Disc with a few superficial scuffs or hairlines, high gloss, plays clean.

                      Cover with only the slightest sign of use.

VG++            Glossy with minimal scuffing or light hairlines, playing very nice with only the slightest audible flaws, such as very light surface noise between tracks, or a few random pop/clicks (that usually comes from small pieces of dirt that could easily be cleaned). 

                      Cover showing signs of use, light wear around edges, and one or two minor flaws. But overall the artwork should be in great shape.

VG+              More scuffs and hairlines, still plays very well with some minimal surface and light pops and clicks at worse. Keepers copy to most. EX on most lists.

                      Cover a bit more used, might show signs of ringwear, and general wear around edges. Could have small writings, tears or split.

VG                Still very enjoyable NOT trashed as many VG grades. Might have a few light scratches, and some surface noise. But not abused and definitely no skips or jumps.

                      Cover well used. Might have more pronounced ringwear, as well as seamsplits, and other flaws. Not abused, in general the artwork should be well preserved.

VG-               Rougher copy. Will have lots of hairlines, scuffs and some light scratches. Surface noise would be expected. But still a perfectly playable and enjoyable copy. No skips or jumps.

Rougher copy. Several flaws, wear and split will be expected, as well could small writing, tears, rips or creases.

Normally I will never list records below VG-, if that should happen read the description, I am sure you have got the picture by now.

I usually use the phrases hairlines, scuffs and scratch. Anything that could be felt with a fingernail is a scratch. Hairlines is thin lines not to be felt with a nail, almost every record has these thin lines from being pulled in and out of paper innerbags. Scuffmarks are usually bigger marks on the surface, but still not feelable with a nail.

Shipping and Postage: All records will be very well packed in cardboard mailers, with records outside covers (unless sealed). Postage at actual cost, rounded to next whole number. And using the exchange rate of today (May 14th 2008) please see table below. I do not recommend unregistered letters, as they are not insured and impossible to track if lost. I am working at strange hours and long shifts, so it’s not always possible for me to ship immediately after payment arrives. Shippings will be made AT LEAST once a week.

Please note that the number of records are only guidelines. Some records weight much more than others. If you wanna be sure about the shipping cost please ask before bidding. Normally I will include protective cardboard fillers on both sides of the record(s). And the invoice I sent will be calculated with this in mind. However these usually weight just enough to lift the total weight of on record above 500gram, and hereby increase the postage cost. And to be honest the cardboard mailer itself should be enough protection in most cases. (In the very bad cases, even the extra filler will not be enough, when the postal service decides to drop a ½ton package at the edge of my package). But it will all be up to you. If you want to hear about optional shipping possibilities just drop me a line. The cheaper economy mail is available overseas, but takes forever, so I haven’t listed the prices and do not recommend it, but again it’s up to you.
