Description
Norio Maeda & All Stars - Rock Communication (Japan, Teichiku, `70) Cover: hard to grade as it looks presentable from the outside, but inside the gatefold, there's nasty mildew damage. I've put clear tape over it. See the picture. How about G+? The cover has been moist at some point, but it's not buckled. It has some overall dulling/rubbing and a few tiny tears. There's a fair amount of handwriting inside the gatefold as well. The obi is there, but is partially torn at the top and has light water/mildew damage. Disc: M- lovely!
Great funky soul/jazz instrumentals with an eastern edge, crackling with a rock-ish energy, beautifully recorded, mastered and pressed. Would make a great soundtrack for a Japanese `70s cop show or a Japanese blaxploitation flick, if such a thing exists.
