This is the ultra-rare No Mercy "Widespread Bloodshed Love Runs Red" LP released in 1987 on the legendary Suicidal Records. This one comes with BOTH the Dogtown-Suicidal Records insert and the rare inner sleeve with lyrics and photos (most albums were released with the Suicidal-Dogtown insert, a lyrics and photos insert and a blank inner sleeve!).Here’s what you can read, etched in the dead wax of this record: “S-17356”, “S-17357”, “SLP-1003-A”, “SLP-1003-B” and “Kdisc ch”. Jacket, vinyl, inner sleeve with lyrics and photos and Suicidal Records catalog insert in NEAR MINT Condition! Great Venice band featured only on the "Welcome to Venice" compilation and this album (their ONLY release to date, now out of print OOP). No Mercy is Mike Clark (now of Suicidal Tendencies) 's first band. Fantastic artwork by the late Michael Seiff (see picture!) A must-have for any fan of the Venice punk rock, thrash, hardcore, skate, metal scene that also included great bands such as Suicidal Tendencies, Beowulf and Excel. On this album, Suicidal Tendencies' Mike Muir is taking the place of Kevin Guercio, No Mercy's old singer, on vocals, Mike Clark is on guitar, Ric Clayton on bass and Sal Troy on drums. Incidently, Suicidal covered FOUR of those songs (Master of No Mercy, Controlled by Hatred, (Choosing) My own way of life and Waking the dead) on their "Controlled by Hatred/Feel like s**t/Déjà vu" album.
