In Utero
You are bidding on a super rare copy of Nirvana’s third album In Utero. This album was originally mixed by Steve Albini, but his mix was rejected in favor of a more radio friendly version. The original mix is harder and more “Nirvana” as most critics and fans say. The master tapes of Albini’s mix were accidently sent to the German factory were the plant was preparing press the album for reissue in 2003. The factory pressed an estimated few hundred copies using the Albini mix, and you are bidding on one of them. The dead-wax etching reads as follows

The label says the record was printed in the E.U. and the catalog number is 424 536-1, thus proving this is a very rare Steve Albini pressing. The vinyl is in NM condition, shiny black with clean labels. It looks brand new. The jacket is in excellent condition with the only flaw being a slight bend on the bottom right corner. The cover art looks great and I think the picture speaks for itself. The original lyric insert and Universal vinyl catalog are included as well. This is a very rare item and a must have for any Nirvana fan. This is the way the band wanted you to hear the album, don’t miss out!!
