Description
Up for auction is an extremely rare 1971 first German pressing of Nine Days Wonder/Nine Days Wonder with the very rare green foam cover. Not only is this edition rare, but it is even rarer to find a copy where almost 100% of the green foam is present and intact, and in this case it is. The overall grade of the album cover is EX with the only visible imperfections being discoloration of foam on the spine and along the edges and very few small spots on some of the corners where foam is not present. The inner gatefold is a solid EX. Visually, the vinyl is practically flawless with the exception of a few minor hairlines that can only be seen under strong light. The play grade overall is a solid EX with very sporadic surface noise on portions of some of the tracks and totally clean sound on the other tracks. The overall fidelity of this first pressing is absolutely STELLAR and the best edition of this album that I've ever heard. (PLEASE SEE AND ZOOM IN ON PHOTOS)
