Description
This item is a first press mono album released in 1964 on Philips Records by Nina Simone entitled 'Nina Simone In Concert'. Record label and number is Philips Records PHM-200-135. Record itself is in strong very good condition with a few visible scuffs. The record played pretty nicely with just some very light surface noise on some areas of the record that did not distract from listening however there is some residue on the vinyl at the beginning of the song 'Don't Smoke In Bed' that creates some surface noise that lasts for about a minute at the beginning of the song. The rest of the album played pretty well considering that the record is 59 years old. Record was cleaned on a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine. Record labels show some spindle wear (see photos). Record cover is In strong very good plus condition and would have graded higher if it weren't for some writing on the back of the cover near the top right corner and at the area where the song titles are listed (see photos).
